Runyon who grew up in L. a., required his restaurant-saloon to replicate an Outdated West that had very long disappeared, just as town landscape of his youth. The aptly named Previous Location took root in a construction constructed all around 1914 on the juncture of Mulholland Freeway and Troutdale Drive which at the time housed a typical store a
